We made it through January, which is reason to celebrate… with cake, cookies, chocolate, anything! Lately, I can’t seem to stay out of the kitchen. My house is old and charming… and drafty and COLD! So maybe my desire to stay in the kitchen is driven by the warmth a hot oven brings. This cookie cake is soft and chewy and just the right amount of crispy. Remember Mrs. Fields? She was a birthday staple at my house. I can remember eating so much cookie cake that our tongues would turn blue from those 90’s artificial dyes.
